You lose an entire day’s work asking the same questions over and over, and at the end of it all there’s still no guarantee that the winning candidate is going to be great at the job. Done right, interviews are a great way to find the perfect fit for a vacancy; done wrong, and you’ll have a gaping hole where a person should be, or, worse still, the wrong person altogether. In this session, we’ll show you how to do interviews in a way that actually tests candidate’s competencies, so you can throw out the crystal balls, spidey senses, and any other gut-feel decisions that are currently dictating who joins your team.
